Claflin is a small town nestled in the center of Kansas located just on the edge of the Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Refuge. With a population just over 600 people, Claflin is the perfect small town to both raise a family and to grow old. Claflin is known for its rich history in athletics and continues to provide kids will ample sporting and achedemic opportunities. Claflin lies just 20 miles northeast of Great Bend, and is an easy one-hour drive to Salina, Hays and Hutchinson.
